Grief Resources for Small Groups

Grief and bereavement support groups are a great way to reach those who’ve experienced a loss, with real hope and help. The opportunity to walk with someone through their grief experience and emotional support is priceless.

Small groups give the opportunity to help break up feelings of isolation and loneliness. They also provide a safe space to mourn, and remind them that there’s no right or wrong way to grieve. That living with grief will look different in different seasons. And that there are resources and support available to anyone who is living with the loss of a loved one.

Hope Beyond Today Notes, Leader Guide, and USB

Hope Beyond Today

Hope Beyond Today is a thoughtfully designed 6-week course created to help you minister directly to those navigating loss.

Each 1-hour session begins with an approximately 25-minute video, providing practical guidance, biblical encouragement, and real-life insight from those who have personally experienced grief. Following each video, there is a group discussion time for sharing personal stories and perspectives, as well as an opportunity to cover the provided discussion questions.

The combination of biblical truth, shared experience, and guided conversation sets the stage for genuine healing. Which makes this an ideal resource for churches and ministries seeking to offer solid, useful, and Christ-centered grief support.

Why What If If Only Leader Kit contents

Why, What if, If Only

Why, What if, If Only is a powerful 6-week, Bible-centered grief support course for individuals who are wrestling with the impossible questions a traumatic or sudden loss can cause. Whether that loss was an accident, a suicide, or something else, there are often questions that cannot be answered. This course meets the bereaved in that tension, helping them reframe their thoughts, without becoming trapped in them.

Each session includes engaging video teachings and interviews with those who’ve suffered the traumatic death of a loved one. These stories help normalize the internal struggle many grievers face when they’ve lost a loved one suddenly. They address questions like Why did this happen? What could I have done differently? and Why did God allow this? — while pointing participants toward truth, perspective, and hope.

Designed for easy implementation in churches or small groups, each session fits within a one-hour format and includes leader guidance and participant resources to support meaningful discussion. The goal: Helping people who have lost a loved one move from confusion and pain toward clarity, comfort, and healing.

Hope for Your Tomorrow Books

Additional Resources for Suicide Loss Survivors

Hope for Your Tomorrow is a deeply compassionate and Bible-centered book, designed to help individuals navigate the complex and overwhelming grief that follows the loss of a loved one to suicide.

Written from years of ministry experience and shaped by personal stories, the book brings together the voices of those who have walked through suicide loss themselves as one powerful resource. Through these testimonies, readers begin to recognize that they are not alone in their questions, emotions, or struggles. You’ll find thoughtful discussion of the unique challenges of suicide grief–including guilt, unanswered questions, and the theological tension many wrestle with–as well as emotional support and biblical perspectives.

Ideal for churches, grief ministries, outreach efforts, and funeral homes to provide support to those going through this terribly difficult time.

This resource is also available in bulk quantities, making it easy to share with those in need. Use it as a standalone support tool or as part of a group program. It equips you to extend care beyond a meeting space, by placing a tangible source of comfort and truth into the hands of those who need it most.
